okay guys, i know this is like last minute but i wanna plan like a last minute vacation thing for me and my gf before we leave for college ( two weeks ) lol is this last minute or what? I was wondering if guys have any suggestions on wat to do visint the poconos or if any recomendations can be made as to any specific hotels and whatnot. Thanks for your input.

go rafting on the delaware river, and then get a cabin or something. search for delaware river whitewater and check out some of the companies that do it. kittatinny, silver canoe, indian head canoe, etc. indian head has nice cabins where you can stay, but kittatinny and silver canoe seem like theyd be better for rafting/canoeing. ive done kittatinny and theyre good.

its kind of hard to give you ideas w/o knowing what you and your girl like to do. but the poconos are just cool to go and chill at. check out camelback mt. to see if they have any cabins during the summer to rent. its a ski mt. so they might do stuff during the off season also.

search for poconos in yahoo or google and youll find stuff.

I use to live up there? If you looking for a decent place to stay, go to fernwood resorts in bushkill. I have worked almost every resort in the poconos and by far i feel the fernwood has the best rooms and prices. Any where else is bug invested and such. For things to do you can go caoning or swiming. At night you can go check out the town and go to a couple of bars I guess. THe poconos is not a really good place to go in summer , winter is alot better casue of skiing and snowboarding , but if you want to unwind and not worry about cops the poconos is the place!!!
