im going to williamsburg virginia twice this year. Once for thanksgiving and once for christmas. I am going to drive up to New Jersy and im wondering whats the best way about visiting Washington DC.? I want to see everything, like the white house and everything. How do i go about doing that? Also are there special tickets i need to buy? And will i be able to see everything in a day? Thanks

Rep Power: 366 Parking is a nightmare in DC!
Georgetown is a nice area to go to. The best area to go to is the NorthWest section of DC and SouthWest sometimes, too. Just stay far, far, far, far away from SouthEast DC if you plan on coming home in one piece. j/k

Rep Power: 366 We have the subway system. It's called "The Metro". It's the best way to travel in the city.
We usually don't get much snow in December, so hopefully that won't be a problem for you.

Rep Power: 0 They have alot of museums that are free in the mall area thats cool to go there one time, and you can see the sites to cuz its all in the same area. Most of it is in walking distance, just be prepared to walk, And if you like chinese food, they have a chinatown metro stop, they have sum good food there. If your looking for a cool place to go to at night, you can go here, as well as during the day, www.washingtonpost.com you can search on their website for almost anything in DC. Goodluck and if you need any help with anything holla, I should be here for xmas time.
