Talking Another dealership visit post...

As you know, I like to post most experiences involved with my car on this forums. Often times I post how dealerships are nasty and the workers there are asses, etc. Well that's still my opinion.

Anyways. I went for a 22200 mile oil and filter change this morning. I'd have to say that this visit was overall very pleasant! I had an appointment at 930, so there were already cars in the service area, but they took my car in right away. The worker there couldn't promise me that the car would be ready in 30 minutes, even though the coupon said 'in 30 minutes or less'. It took an hour.

I looked around while waiting. They already brought in a handful of 2004 civics by the end of August. The extended lot was now filled with 2004s civics (I guess no one has come by for them yet). MANY MANY silver coupe and sedans. I only saw 2 Rallye Reds, and a couple of gunmetal colored coupes. I decided not to do a tailight swap, because the 'flashier' looking new tailights look tacky on Rallye Red. What my future 2004 swaps will be is to swap vents (the tabs have chrome accents) and interior door handles (chrome also). Also, not a whole grill swap; I'm going to cut the mesh part of my euro grill and the mesh from a 2004 grill and attach it my euro grill lip (I love the honeycomb mesh of 2004s). But that's pretty much it.

It's probably just me (some psychological crap), but the car was quiet as hell when I was driving home from the dealers. I could still hear this really soft rattling that no one else can, but the engine wasn't as throaty as before. But it's always like that before and after a checkup.

I refuse to believe that they actually helped my car, because that will make me like going to the dealership. But this visit was pretty fun.

And they dripped oil onto my grill. Bastards

AND ONE LAST THING I JUST REMEMBERED!!!
There was a granny there (younger than 60s it looked) getting her 1995ish Accord serviced. Lol the worker who drives the cars into the service garage, he couldn't get it working. After he started rolling down the slope driveway, I got suspicious. The granny drives STICK!!! I wanted to ask her so bad, if she liked driving stick! But she was pissed off because that idiot worker didn't know how to start a manual! She was all yelling at him! "YOU HAVE TO STEP ON THE CLUTCH DIMWIT!" LOLOLOLOLOLOL The worker was so embarassed. He shouldn't be allowed to work there.

besides paying too much and waiting much longer, you're still getting the same service as the nearest 10 minute oil change place. some even have a free full car wash like the place i go to.

hmm... They used to give me a car wash right after service. But I think their budget was cut down. I don't trust them washing my car anyways (they take it 'around back' and 'wash it').

Mostly I've been going there because I'm used to it and they keep me on schedule. I don't want to have to depend on them for every single thing though.
