Sounds like this could be a good time. Are you people seriously getting there at 9am? Meeting anywhere outside the park before you go in? (Like the Wawa or McDonalds outside?) what time are you planning on leaving at?

we (va/md people) are leaving at 5 to get there at 9, so we dont get stuck in line waiting to buy tickets, and we can chill until the rest of the late people get there... i dont know what time people want to leave at, but me, im leaving when it closes

i dunno about staying there all day... the kings dominion thing was great and we were all worn out after like 8 hours. or maybe it was just me. I'll have friends with me, so i'll leave when they get tired. also, i won't be going home afterward, so please no one count on me to lead haha

I've never been to the Six Flags in NJ before, so i'm not sure how we should do the meet-up thing. I would think since we're getting there early we can go in, park a little far from the entrance to ensure we all get to park together, and then once everyone arrives we can go into the park.

anyone familiar with the area, are there any good resturants around? I'm thinking it'd be fun to leave the park in the afternoon to cruise out to lunch park food is so expensive.

ALSO, we need some meet-up points maybe. people coming up from VA, we could meet up at the springfield mall first, then meet up with the maryland people at the cheasapeake house or maryland house service area? or there's a rest stop off the NJTP at exit 3, just 4 miles from the Six Flags exit. from northern VA it will take us 3 hours to arrive at six flags. the cheasapeake house rest area is 2 hours from northern va. before i get too far, is anyone in MD interested in meeting up at a rest area? if there's enough people then we'll decide on a time.

when u enter the parking lot after paying... u can only basically go straight....

EVERYONE SHOULD HEAD STRAIGHT BACK TO THE FAR RIGHT CORNER ... as this area is what fills up last in the park...

Steph... as far as the 4 of us ( me , you , alex and becca) Im gonna buy the Speedpass(40 sumthing) when i get there for us. that way u guys just have to get in the park and youll be set to go.. and can refund me in drinks or something later on that night.

i say we aim at meeting up there at 5:30am. the minute everyone arrives, we take off. because of this, we need to know WHO is going to meet us at the springfield mall. basically what would be anyone south or west of DC. if anyone beyond springfield wants to make a meet spot in maryland on the way up, you have a rest stop of I-95 around exit 35 and one around exit 75. pick one if you wish, but let us know so we know to stop there and pick up you people

you guys (VA) need to leave no later than 5:30am. traffic on the jersey turnpike is like traffic on 495. unpredictable. u guys might get there a lil early if you don't have any problems, but it's better to be safe then sorry.

OK, here's my advice. I live 15 minutes from six flags, I know the area. Since you guys are coming up so early, the turnpike won't be bad. But, you should leave between 5:30-6 to make it there by 9. If you want to go some place to eat besides McDonald's or Wawa...there is a pizza place about 5 minutes away....and a couple others that I can't remember, but I know where they are. Maybe we'll meet you guys there around then, cause I'm not sure what time we are planning to get there yet.

i think it's a good idea though.. around 9-10am we meet up at the mcdonalds lot, hang out, have breakfast, then when we're all ready to go to the park we all cruise out at the same time. this way people can come hang out even if they don't want to enter the park. sound good?
