Heres an issue of mine..im selling the civic and i have some people look at it (i would have more if i drove it more and left it places) but a couple that were interested didnt seem as if they would take car of the car.. some wanted to buy the hood, rims, kit, hid's etc.. i have a deadline to meet by the 1st of september (2.9% financing on an accord coupe) so what would you do: part it out? part it out then trade in? trade in as is? or just wait to sell it privatley? thanks for all your help

part it out and trade it in, if you still have the stock stuff around. most dealerships don't like aftermarket stuff because it shrinks the crowd they can sell the car to, so there goes your trade-in value i think you would be saving more if you parted the stuff out too, instead of just trading it in and taking the hit for the aftermarket parts.

part it out, put stock stuff back on, sell the car privately (might get more money), then sell all the aftermarket parts, i believe this will get you the most money

well i went to my friend at the ddealer and he said $10,500 - $11k for the car as is so thats pretty shitty.. i tried to get out of selling the stuff seperatly is kinda alot of work to take off, put it in boxes to ship and etc.. but i guess thats really my only option.. thanks
