we all just got very lucky that he was a cool cop. lots of fun was had by all, event the people that had trouble. it was awesome to se 15 or so cars roll in all at once, theres nothing like it!
if everyone wants another Mid-Atlantic Meet, and we know you do, then we need a few dedicated people to step forward and be willing to accept the responsibilities to pull this off, Rob, Addy, Steph and Mex have done it the last two years, and im sure would like someone to take over for them(except for Mex, he may still want to do it.) All ideas are welcome though
so contact Rob&Addy, Steph, Mex, or myself with all your ideas

Rep Power: 319 finally home.. it was great seeing everyone! i'm kinda disappointed that i didn't get to meet everyone there.. there were so many unfamiliar faces even as we were leaving. the hotel was fun.. we shoulda had more people stay! it'd be cool if next year we could get a whole weekend thing going on.. arrive friday, have the meet on saturday, maybe at a theme park, then leave sunday morning. anyway, i need to head out to work-- i'll post pics in a later post. take care everyone, and chenz, best of luck with your car!!

Man, what a great time I had with all you guys! I'm glad I decided to make the 5 hour trip north to hang.
Saw a lot of nice cars and met a lot of cool people even if I forgot to get your names! 
I've got to admit, the white cars were the sexiest ones out there. 
imp: We'll hafta definetly do it next year!I was making a few suggestions to a few members that we might want to do it here in Virginia Beach, VA next year. There's a lot of stuff to do around here. We've got a nice park we can meet at and right down the road we have a water park and motorsports park to go hang out at and swim and race if we wanted. And, finally at night, we can hit our boardwalk and cruise up and down. It was just an idea, but I know it'd be a really long haul for the guys in New England to come down (like ~8 hour drive). But, like Mex said - maybe a weekend thing?
Anyway, it was nice seeing all you guys again and thanks to Steph, Mex, Rob and his wife for helping out for this year.

so 5:00 and chenz roll up to my house with 1 4dr less than how we left. he dropped it off at some redneck place to see what wrong dunno whats up with it yet........it was cool see ing all the people from the forum. can finally match faces to their posts. best of luck to every1 especially chenz...next year my house b/c i aint driving!

Rep Power: 0 I just got home after dropping Chenz off at his door. The meet was alot of fun even though there were a few mishaps along the way. It was the best driving experience in my life so far. Everyone who was at the rest stop on the NJ Turnpike can attest that the first 15 min. of driving on the NJ Turnpike before Chenz blew his motor was pure automotive bliss. Seeing a group of 7thgens owning the road was amazing.

Thanks to Rob and his wife for making food for us when we got there at 7pm
Thank you to everyone who went and made this meet possible. Im sorry that things turned out bad and I had to miss meeting everyone and seeing their rides. Special thank you goes to OSOFAST, BOILER_ROOM , SivicChic, and becca for sticking with me threw the whole proccess of getting my car towed. You dont know how much u guys helped me stay composed in a situation that could have totally made me self-destruct. I lost my hobby saturday, my pride and joy. My life
As for the Civic well ... heres what happened.... I started to hear a clicking noise all of a sudden. Then out of no where my oil light came on and i herd a slight bang. Smoke started pourin into the car and i pulled over faster then anything. This is why everyone thought i blew a tire. I couldnt see ... so i locked the brakes and cut the wheel to get to the sholder lane. As i opened the hood i saw oil spewin out the front of the engine .. just behind the altenator. I decided that i needed to get oil first and foremost so i could alteast drive the car somewhere to get it looked at. Well we got the oil and i started the car and attempted to drive ... after driving about 5 miles I heard a loud bang and the engine just died while doing 60mph so i had to pull over again. when i poped the hood the second time .. I couldnt see the engine anymore.. ALL i saw was oil.. all over the hood the engine and everything else inside the bay.
Now the engine was dead and wouldnt turn over.
So we called a tow truck and towed it to a local **** shop in NJ. Im waiting for them to call me tomorrow or tuesday to tell me what i pretty much already know. The engine is done for. I threw a rod or cracked the head or something to that extent because i drove the car with no oil after the gasket blew.
So ..with that said... Ive already gotten the ball rolling on a new power plant.
Chrissy (CivicChick2k1EX) who is a GOD. has already found me a new engine , I also called two friends that are certified mechanics and they are ready and willing to perform the swap with me when im ready. Last but not least(most important part) is the Money.
I talked it over with my pops for what seemed like hours and tomorrow we're goin to the bank so I can take out a loan to make this all possible. I will keep you guys updated and let you know how its comin along. I need my car so Im gonna do this as fast as possible.
