Bald Hill, Long Island....ny
Hey did anyone goto Bald Hill last night?? In case some people dont know what it is, It has to be the biggest car meet on Long Island during the Week. People meet every tuesday night At BaldHill to show off their cars.....from Imports, to Low Riders, to Mustangs, to Vettes, to Hot Rods, to Muscle Cars....and then there are tons of Trucks and also Motor Cycles.
Last night I would say there was close to 800 cars and motorcycles there. My girlfriend said she never saw anything quite like it......Tuesday nights at Bald Hill is like going to Carlisle Penn to see an import car show....but this is better. It only costs $4 to get in. It went up from $3 admission last year. If you show your car, or if you park in the regular parking lot, you still have to pay the $4.
I only saw one 7th gen there last night...and it is the same one I saw last year, it just looks worse now. It is a SSM lx coupe....with no rims....rollin on the stock wheels with no covers, chrome altezzas, ebay grills top and lower, 3 gauge pods with gauges on the pillar, no exhaust and from what I can tell no engine mods, oh and a black hood.....not carbon, but Black.
There were some crazy imports there last night.....There was a 99-2000 Prelude with custom paint, custom system and the wheel spinners that make the rims look like they are spinning when the cars not moving.
There was a 99-2000 Electronic Blue Si slammed to the ground with Gull Wing Doors. I gotta say that looks pretty cool in person.
There was plenty of Ford Focuses Fixed up, Lancers, a Galant made to look like an EVO....That kit looked Sick on that car.
and many more cars to see.....Next time I will bring my digital and snap some pics.....

Rep Power: 396 We go on tuesday nights during the summer. It is a nice drive out there......Sunrise Hwy to exit 52A....Make a left at the first light and go all the way down.....Go up the Hill....and you will see an off ramp on the right side.....Take the off ramp and then make a left at the flashing red light......Go straight, stay on the left side and make a left into the huge parking lot....You cant miss it because there will be tons of cars there.
It is every tuesday night from 6pm on.

I might make the trip out there if you people plan on all meeting up. Haven't seen my LI boys for a while and I'd like to meet the new (or new to me) people! Pick a date and I'll try and be there.

Rep Power: 356 So are you all going this week? I get off work at 5, so that means I MIGHT be able to make it there by 7:30. It depends on traffic and stuff. Figure out a definite plan, and I'll see what I can do.

Rep Power: 396 I dont think i can make it this week....Got plans for tommorow. There is no way you can make it in 20 minutes from Queens. I go from Lynbrook and it takes us 45 to 50 minutes to get there...You gotta remember at 6pm or so there is still alot of traffic....
