Hey... my parents wont let me do anything major to my 7thgen.. such as an engine swap or turbo because they will void the warrenty.. so they told me i can get an old car,and do whatever i want to it
so.. my price ranges is like 1-2g for an old car, and i wanna make it fast for really cheep.. my dad loves mustangs, but i hate them, i know their fast, but there fords, and i hate ford.. so if u had like 1-2 g's what car would u get...
i was thinking of a
CRX but they are hard 2 find in chicago for cheep
an old civic hb, or old integra.. still 2 much $$
nissan 240sx
old mazda rx-7
or an old eclipse gs-t
any suggestions?

I'm not saying that they are the best looking, I just think it would be the easiest to mod and find people who are knowledgeable in doing so. They have been swapped, chopped, sliced, and diced so much that you shouldn't have any problem doing whatever your heart desired.
As fare as the best year, I am not really sure. I think the '91 si would do just fine though and would probably be a good choice.

If you want something that is rare, cheap and easy to mod, look around for a Mitsubishi Starion. They are RWD, some come with turbo, pretty easy to find parts for, and they are relatively light.
