thats a lot of carbon fiber. ive got a model of a red 95' F50 in my room that ive had since i was a kid. very sweet. and the shifter kicks ***, dont hate. i actually had the pleasure of riding in a ferrari in vegas 2 years ago. just around the block but hell have you ridden in one? thats what i thought.

Here's what never made sense to me - the shifter on a Ferrari is set up so that you can see where each gear is. But on regular cars, there's a shift boot. Now, wouldn't you figure the Ferrari driver is more skilled and wouldn't need to see where the gears are as opposed to a regular car driver who might be learning. So why wouldn't regular cars have the metal panel and Ferraris have the shift boot?
That was my thought for the day.

Right on the F50, wrong on the Enzo... C&D says "This time, Ferrari is exchanging greenbacks for the Enzo with no apparent strings attached."

If you mis-shift any manual gearbox car into a gear too low, you risk over-revving the engine in a way that NO rev-limiter will stop... Its called a mechanical over-rev.
In other words, going 60 in your Civic and shifting down to first will damage the engine.
