Do you need to get springs if...
I was planning on getting some rims for my civic. Is it essential to lower my car right away or can I set it off for a while? How will the car look without lowering it with some rims on there? Anyone have any suggestions?

This should be in suspension performance. You can ride without lowering. Plenty of people do, including me. it will look like you are "4-wheelin it" but it isn't anything horrible.
What kind of information do you want?? there is a search feature that could help you too.

Yeah, it wont look at good as after you lower it, but if you go with 17's and get 215/45/17 tires, it doesnt look THAT bad. Yes, it will look better lowered, but it doesnt have ALOT of wheel gap like the 205/40/17 which looks like an SUV.

If you go with 17s and tires that match the stock diameter, it doesn't look that bad really without being lowered. I still have not changed teh hieight of mine and its fine. I've actually been pretty impressed with the stock suspension when on the track... but havent dropped it due to money issues mostly.
