New lancer evo 8
Test drove a lancer this weekend with my buddy
we made the sales guy think we were gonna buy it cash on the spot
so he gave us a test drive . Very nice interior recaros stock seats and the steering wheel was
momo i think . well to the good part the drive uh i didnt get to drive because the sales guy wouldnt let us each have a turn but my buddy said the clutch felt reallt solid and so did the tranny and shifter . The car itself was fast the exceleration was great but it kinda just felt like a older turbo eclipse with a little more horses . well thats probably because it has the eclipse turbo motor in it . well anyway it also handled really nice no slop here . well overall i would buy the lancer its fast and nice it alos looks awesome with the front mount intercooler
but at a 10,000 dollar dealer markup making it 40,000 i dont think ill buy it anytime soon
i love my civic its quick and looks good may not be fast as i want but itll get there and for way under 40,000

People seem to forget that these 2 cars the WRX and the EVO, were made for turning, not 1/4 mile. wheather its On or off road. There are some cars that can beat them in straight line acceleration, but few that can match their handling. unfortunatly both the STi and the EVO 8 are going to be Grossly over priced for quite some time now.

I wouldn't buy it, I would rather have WRX STi, G35 coupe or Z. fast doesn't cut it for me, need to have the comfort, if I want it fast without comfort, I'd be driving a F-1 cart with lights already.

well.. if you put a STi tuned car against a car thats stock from manufactuerer... then you know..
but what if RallyArt were to relase their tuned Evo8.. will the STi stand a chance.. i doubt it will... haha..
EVO8 all the way baby...

I saw a few on the road....It looks awkward for some reason. I too would rather have the subaru. I watched a program on the STI the other night on the speed channel. I love the front headlamps, they are a major improvement for the front end.....The thing I dont like are the bronze wheels....but they can always be changed. I think the subaru is wider and tougher looking over the mitsu. I also think the subaru is of better quality and will prolly last longer than the mitsu.....Subarus hold there value where as Mitsus really dont.

how can you compare a STi tuned car to a stock car...
what if ralliart release a tuned version of their Evo8s, then everyone would like it over the STi Imprezza...
i have always loved the Evo series... Skylines are my next fav car, then Imprezzas and then Audi S4....
actually... i LOVE cars with 4WD.. haha...
