Saab's new 9-1 = WRX, see the resemblance?

Due to th familial links between GM, Saab, and Subaru. GM decided that the struggling Saab unit needed a new car to spice sales up. So they turn to Subaru, take the WRX and wrap it in Saab skin. They say it should be priced below 9-3 which is already not to much different from WRX. So now you can get a WRX for the mature crowd...

It says in the opening paragraph of the article that the image was created to give readers and idea of what this possible 9-1 would look like.

I like the idea, it sounds like it would sell pretty well too. The pricing might be better than the WRX if you consider that a new WRX starts at almost $25k and the new Saab 9-3 starts at alittle over $26k. It would have to be priced below the 9-3.

The front end of that picture is photoshopped. Everything from the A pillar is a WRX wagon. Just look at the shape of the windows, etc. The article even says that the picture isn't a real picture.

cuz all I notice was the front end.. and thats an obvious sabb characteristic.

i think sabbs are nice.

duno if I would get one since there's all these other goodie choices for the money.. but yeah.. I'll take one over my civic anyday.
