That was a BMW Isetta. Ineresting little car, I had the plesure of restoring one for a BMW dealership in San Diego. We even painted it in BMW's traditional racing colors, White, with the Tri color Stripes.

vw as in volkswagen, and yes it was a 2 seater and no that someone mentioned it steve urkell did drive one, I just can't find the name of it. Some guys in my office are betting me that it isn't real that it was just made for movies or tv. But I saw the other day on the history channel, they were talking about the history of volkswagen
