Integra Hunting...
I went hunting for an Integra this afternoon. I'm trying to find one for my brother and I hit 6 or 7 dealers/lots and came up with only 2, one was a 91 and the other was a 2000, but both were autos. I went in to the Acura dealer and spoke with the manager who basically said it would be like finding a needle in a haystack and they're rare cars. I see them all the time though, so I should think they're not that hard to come by. I didn't really have a big list of requirements.... just that it was a 5 speed and wasn't green. Other than that, I was game.
I don't know... maybe they are hard to find, but jeez.... I'm not looking for a Type R... I didn't think it would be this tough.
Am I really trying to do the impossible here??? Or do I just need to keep fishing and it'll be all worth it when I find one??
(for those of you who live in Northern Indiana, Southern Michigan or Western Ohio, if you come across a Teg LS with a stick on a dealer lot, could you please post or PM me about it... I really want to find one.)

Yes, I tried autotrader and carmax, both of which showed up 1 each. And both were over 100 miles from me.... thats really the problem. Now I've hit every dealer in town and I haven't found a single damn car that even has a stick! Damn you lazy Americans! Learn how to drive a stick shift so there are more to go around!

I was going to buy one a few months ago as well. A late model gs-r. The gs-r models are RARE and it is very hard to find one that is not owned by some ricer from hay! I think the guy at the dealer was very honest and described the gs-r hunting precisely.
It's a pain but they are out there...it's just nothing like shopping for a civic or even a 6thgen si.

Well, I have looked several times and usually can only find 1 or possibly 2 in my area. Usually, they are owned by some teenager that has riced them out and probably driven the car to hay and back.
You can find examples on the net if you expand your search to a several hundred mile area.
I guess it mainly depends on what year(s) and amt of miles you are looking for. Ebay has a few but a lot of them have salvage titles.
Anyhow, I have always found them to be pretty rare. Most people seem to hang on to them for several years and I don't think many are produced to begin with...
Also, I would expect one to find a lot more in cali as opposed to anywhere else in the US.
