Hi there.
For the members with an automatic HX model Civic, can you please tell me the order of gears that appear on the gear indicator on your guage cluster. If you can take a picture, all the better!
I know on the other automatic models (DX, LX, EX) the column goes as follows:
P
R
N
D
D3
2
Can you please verify that your guage cluster (not the bezel around the shift lever!) shows the same order. Thanks. It's important.

thasnk, I im'd (mostly tried to) the members who had hx's (ahh the power of searching).
Carlobear gave me the best answers.
HX goes as follows:
P
R
N
D
S "Sport"
L "Low"
On the honda webby, HXs have Vtec-E which gives them 117hp (only 2 more than the DX (is vtec really for performance? nah))

I needed the info because I was walking from a far *** parking space to the mall entrance and I saw an HX and noticed the difference in gears (particularly on the guages). I just remembered about that.

since the HX has CVT, the ratios in "S" mode are tuned to give the best acceleration... while in "D", for better fuel mileage (the HX is basically a low mpg non-hybrid civic)
