Integra Type R?
Whats goin on guys? Well in a couple months i am hoping to get a new car, i was looking at the Integra Type R. They are kinda hard to find here in South Florida especially at a dealer since i would need the financing and trade in there. But my question is, i know they have alot of road noise because of less sound deadening but other than that is there any other downsides i should know about? Thanks for your time.

I think they were limited to 500 a year or something real low like that....Maintainance and repair on it would be the same as any other Honda
Aftermarket parts... It's a B18... How many more friggin parts could you want?
I don't know what you would mean by downsides.... it's a Type R... it's the ultimate Integra. As far as I would be concerned, there are no downsides to owning that car.
that car is awesome, i kno someone1 down here in FL who has a yellow type R and its really nice;. It's actually his 3rd type R. First one got stolen, 2nd one he crashed and he juts got his third one a few months ago. all yellow :P

that is my favorite car..........PERIOD.
the only prob with that car is that it is a thief magnet, but do not let that stop you.
I would have gotten one. I had the money and everything. I just wasn't lucky enough to find one. If you are. Jump on it.

Yeah, there's a down side of that car... lack of low end torque. But other than that, it's prety much the ultimate front drive car for track. Here in NYC, would be lucky to see a real Type-R
i wanna get a type r... they sell some used ones around here for over $20k tho. not tooo much mileage. mosst of them are stock cuz it seems like the ppl that bought or financed em couldnt afford em especially with the insurance. im juss gonna get a gsr. i love the championship white type Rs. those were sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeettt!!

yeah i see 2 black type rs with jdm fronts rolling around at my school. im so jealous. thats going to be my next car no doubt about it.
My friend Nouigh has a 2001 yellow Integra Type R w/ Full internals, cam gears, V-AFC,competition cat back i think either Tanabe or Skunk2. the damn friggin thing raps out at 12000 RPM
the only downside of owning an R is the theft rate...if you have a garage go for it...if not you are def risking it, since everything is worth a pretty penny on that car, B18C5, suspension, interior etc.. who cares about low end torque when youve got an autox monster and an 8600rpm redline

I love those cars, always have. The ITR and the CTR. Here in Houston iver seen a few of them and they are the real deal. Ive seen the yellow the white and the black. I was looking for one when i was buying and i couldnt find any that hadnt been beaten to death or messed up in some way shape or form
yeah vinrock8 and neomagus are correct integra type-r's are a thiefs dream. just be sure if you get one have an alarm, a kill switch, a club, an auto lock thing, a pitbull, a shotgun and you have to sleep in the car. oh and if you want to supercharge or turbo an engine let it be a b18b because b18c5's are way better off N/A. and if you love to auto-x this is your car. just my opinion.

AutoTrader.com has a few type R's
01 Auto BLK 27k miles for $24k in MD
00 yellow 10k miles for $20K in TX
00 yellow 11k miles for $21k
00 yellow 12k for $19k
I imagine that those links will only work for a few days or so since i did a search but I found those 4 on the first 4 pages out of 20 so I'm sure there are a few on all you have to do is look!

ya i know this guy from Lit class who has one. Its a black 2k1 Typer Arrr. I asked him about it and he said its stock (has a CAI sitting somewhere at home) and that he isnt really into the import scene anymore. He likes racing bikes now.

I wish I could find one in good condition
