Rep Power: 0 It depends on gearing a lot too, so if 2nd's taller, you can hit a higher speed. In fact that's the trick most manufacturers use today! As 0- 60 is an important benchmark, a lot of cars are designed to hit 60 in 2nd gear, reducing the time taken to rach 60 MPH (takes less time as you don't need to shift into 3rd)

Rep Power: 0 Have you done any modifications to your ws6??
I work next to some guys in Schaumburg that do work to the Fire chicken engines, some pushinh over 1000 hp. Yes it does cost a huge amount to do that and they aren't street legal but that doesn't stop them from testing them on the side roads out here. It is awesome displays of power during lunch when they start to have fun.
Wish my civic could do the things that they do.

Rep Power: 0 My first car was a '90 Beretta GTZ. I tried to race one of my friends that had a Z28. I had mine at 90 mph in 2nd gear. I am surprised that I didn't blow it up. I couldn't stand the thoughts of getting beat. Of course my old piece of **** couldn't keep up. It definately had people laughing though!
So it is possible!

Rep Power: 0 WTF does horse power or curb weights have ANYTHING to do with its gearing? I could gear a car to hit 100 in 1st gear if i so wanted. BFD. BTW PLEANTY of automatics go up to and past 70 MPH in 2nd gear, and just to compare my 2nd gear's fuel cut stops @ ~ 62 MPH.
