Bland..yet another typical conservative styling by Honda/Acura. People are ready for more styling than this. It's boring and far from being innovative. But then again that's why the accord sells so well, I guess Acura has a winner on their hands.
what are you all talking about when you say it copied the mazda6?! that up there ^ is pretty much the regular european accord with a body kit. it's been out for years!!! if anything, it's the mazda6 doing the copying. though, i agree, they look similar, and they both look damn good.

That's one sweet car! The interior is awesome!
The outside reminds me of the mazda 6 or whatever it is...
DAmn, that interior is nice... *daydreaming about sitting in driver's seat*

The tsx is for the younger crowd that need/wants a sedan imo. It's a niche. The accord is for older people. Trust me, I drove a '00 EX-VL for over a year and hated the ****. Made me feel old..lol So much so that I traded it for a civic...BIG change.
I don't think it interferes with the rxs either. A lot of young people hate sedans. Again, I don't think anyone considering the rsx would pay much attention to a 4 door tsx. Much like most of the coupe vic drivers wouldn't be caught dead driving a vic sedan.
Take me for example, mid 20s with 1.5 kids. I like coupes and love the rsx-s. I love the practicality of the sedan and the extra 2 doors make my life much easier. I would love to have the rsx-s but it wouldn't fit my lifestyle. The tsx would fit my lifestyle pefectly. I am trying to say that while the markets are very similar, they are quite distinct.

THe thing is, if they push up the HP on this thing, it'll hurt the 3.2TL because this car is already loaded with features already. 40 more hp will cost the TL dearly.
Yes, the Accord V6 coupe is cheaper + more powerful, but people who are looking at sedans now have an alternative. And I think this car loooks WAAAAAYYYYY better than an accord sedan but just a bit pricy sicne it's under Acura.
The new accord sedan is made for old people IMO. The TSX is made for the young. So target group is different for sure. I'd get a TSX if I could afford one right now! NOW! =P

IMO the tsx kills the accord sedan, the accord 4 door is ugly I just hate the back it just looks soo awful. Even though there is a price difference between the accord and the tsx I think the choice would be obvious in what you should choose. BTW K24 is the engine code.
Seeing both cars in person, the Accord looks nothing like the Mazda 6. The Mazda 6 looks all plasticky, and has too many contours giving it a messy look. The Accord looks totally different.
Plus if you're going to tell me (noodleboy) that they copied the Mazda 6, they couldn've because the concept drawings of them existed before the Atenza (JDM Mazda 6, released 5/20/02) was released. The Accord was released in 10/02, and people don't draw up and release cars in 5 months.

The stock mazda 6 doesn't look like the TSX, but the autoexe'd atenza does. I find the 6 to be new and refreshing in it's design, eg: heads and body lines. But the tsx has more of a bland design... eg: nothing new in its lines - yes it still a nice car tho.
