im trading in my 2k1 civic tommorow for an Si (already posted this twice) but my question is, what are the circumstances of trading in a civic thats under 30k with I-H-E mods+wheels? i cant solve this problem of putting the OEM crap back on b/c i threw them out when I moved out. will this affect the trade-in value. well another thing is when my bro traded in his civic they didnt even look under the hood. they just gave him a quote. any comments

Most dealerships will not give you anything for the aftermarket parts. If you can try to keep the wheels at least. When you go to the dealership tomorrow, ask if anyone there would be intrested in your parts. You might find someone there that would trade you there stock parts and a little cash for your aftermarket parts.
yes, he is right. Dealerships dont really care for aftermarket parts, unless they say they want them. If you don't have the stock parts that came with your car, i suggest you do something else then. You'll just get screwed over, keep the wheels too. The dealership won't give you extra for all the stuff you've added to the car
When I traded in my 2k1 EX for my 02 SI I put everything back to stock, except for my ACT stage 2 clutch. They would have given me another $600 on my trade if I did it, but it took 13 hours for me to put it in and I didn't want to spend another 13 hours for $600 minus the cost of a stock clutch. And I sold all of my After market parts that I took off to a girl that worked at the dealership I traded my EX into.
how much was your total tradein value
I only got $9800 for my EX. It had 30,000 miles on it. And it had been wrecked. Had $9800 worth of damage. If the car hadn't been wrecked I would have gotten more for it.
how much do you think i would get for my2k1 ex with the mods (as if would it degrade the trade-in value). the car only has 26k on it and is in good if not excellent condition.
I'd say you should be able to get $11,000 out of it. Work on them with trade in value and price.

Your aftermarket parts won't give you many points for trad-in. Your best bet is to get it as close to stock as possible.
