Just got back from the "Element Event" here at OSU...
On my way to lunch I noticed they had a few Elements and a tent set up along High Street, so I stopped by to check it out. They had two 2WD EX's, one EBP and one SSM. I walk up to them and this little asian dude in an Element t-shirt goes "Yeaaah maaaaaaaaaaan, this thing's got a 270 watt SYSTEM!" I'm just kind of like, yeah, cool. One of the Elements was filled with free Papa Johns pizza, so I ganked some and continued to wander around. This other kid comes up to me and go "What do you think of the Element?" and I go "Looks pretty nice. I'd like to drive one." And he goes "Yeah, it's kinda ugly, but hey, it's a Honda". I heard a few other comments like this from other marketing student Honda lackeys. I got more free pie and got out of there, but I started laughing when I heard the ugly comment. If only Honda knew what it's marketing dollars were doing.

i don't know about the Element. yeah, its a cool design, but when i see them on the street they look like a shoe box on wheels.

Rep Power: 0 hey i stopped by that...but by the time i go there the pizza was gone. i do agree with Dr5D, they aren't the best looking but they are hella practical, especially for someone who mountain bikes, snowboards, and likes doin thingd outdoors. i'm one of those poeple that honda has probably successfully marketed to. If i had an extra 18,000, id probably get one.
