Rep Power: 0 ok, i know the powerplant is great and all.. and im sure itll kick ***.. but i just cant get past the build quality. i just sat in a production model at the autoshow.... the inside was just cheap all around.... and the boost gauge pod was already coming off... just all the materials and fit and finish just kinda let me down... i ws hoping for a lil better... maybe ill get over it someday.. still fast in the end.... bout all tho

Rep Power: 0 Its a budget racer.
This car will match or beat pretty much any heavily moded civic, even ones pusing aftermarket turbos and w/ mild boost and completly built engines. Only thing is that it does so for LESS money and with a WARENTY. Not to mention the engine is completly build to take a whole lot more boost.
So I suppose you could go buy a new "high quality " civic, build its engine, add a turbo and match its STOCK Hp figures, but if anything breaks (which is 100X more likely now that you modified the thing to death) its comming out of YOUR pocket.

the next day they were selling them (and people were buying) the neon for $25,000

Rep Power: 0 Noodleboy - Don't the neons have equal length driveshafts? That would help out with torque steer and some traction issues.
The more I hear about the neons, the more I'm impressed with them. You cannot beat what you get for the price. As for poor quality, I beg to differ. It'll probably outlast what my civic did (54K km before I traded it in). If you're only paying $19K for the car, don't expect $30K build quality out of it. I can't wait till they come to Canada.

Rep Power: 0 I'd like to see one in person and test drive it - I personally don't like the look but for the price, nothing can beat it ..... I do however like the look of the interior and the shifter - When are they coming to Canada ?
