Engine Compression Help
Hey guys, I was planing on putting one of the three engines below in my hatch, but after talking with a few friends. I was told to watch the compression. But I talked to some other people, and said dont worry about the compression. So here are the engines in question. The car a 2000 dx hatch, in which i want to later turbo charge. And yes it must be USDM

...um.....
if i have the chance to do the same thing as u(which i won't), i will b18c1 if u have the money, or b18b would also be really nice
coz it's ok for all those engine for turbo(as i know), and 1.8 would also be better than 1.6
and if u want high boost u will have to change the internal stuff anyways, so b18 is better IMO
good luck

Go with the B18B. they seem to take the turbo applications better. And yes, lower compression on a turbo motor is generally better, since you'll probably want to crank up the boost.
