what to get????

so my dad is going thru is 2nd mid life crisis....hes unsure on what to get. his 2 options ar a used vette 99-01 (not the zo6) or the top of the line 350z im telling him go 350 but hes leaning for the vette......i started to show him pix of hooked up 350's and hes starting to lean for the 350 now...but hes still 50/50 what do you guys think...gimme input

That orange one looks like puke [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG] . It's the same reason I didn't buy the inca pearl civic.....just not my tastes (no offense to anyone who owns one)

I would only buy the Vette if it was new. Maybe he could find an '02 Vette that no one purchased, but that's a huge maybe. I would seriously doubt it. When I see older guys (over the hill) I always think of the Corvette as a sort of mid-life-crisis-mobile. If he could not find an unused Vette, I'd go with the 350Z. I'd also go for the Z if he was going for a show-car type ride. I say get the 350Z in a sedate color, and then put rims and a system. I usually have more respect for a guy in a less expensive but more done up car than a Vette. But I still love Vettes...

Vette and is there really a decision? Two totally different rides imo. The vette is an american icon.

350z is nice but I couldn't see buying one for a weekend driver. It's too civilized for that type of ride.

i just got over mine too. it was my mid-teenage life crisis. lol
i was stuck between a celica gt-s and a subaru wrx. then one day i checked out the z. and motherfather!!! thats the sweetest car ive seen. BUT, when i checked out the dealer its gonna cost me around $31+K to get the z. TOO MUCH. and that was the basic one with no nothing. but i made the rite decision. i got the scooby. imprezd???? j/k.i didnt mean to boost... i mean boast.
