911 is the only one that comes to mind

Front Engine AWD

Rear engine AWD

Mid engine AWD
Lamborghini Diablo VT

And technically, the 350Z is mid-engine.... because the entire engine is behind the front axle. Same thing goes for the BMW Z8.

not hating or anything, but how in the world is the S2000 a mid engine car?? last i checked, the engine is in front of the driver, and ALL mid engine cars have the engine behind the driver. as i see it, cut and dried.

Mid engine is defined by the entire engine sitting between the axles. Thus, the car is mid-engined. It does not matter whether the engine is in front or behind the occupants.
