Rep Power: 0 for those in Oregon
I got a $115 citation today. For windows being to dark. I did the the tint my self and got popped for that to. Apparently in Oregon you have a licensed tint installer do your windows. They can ask for a tag that you get when the installer dose the work no tag tint is illegal.

Rep Power: 0 I live in oregon and i have mine like on 3% and he (buddy of mine, and yes its professionaly done) just warned me that they would do it but it was illegal and it was my responsibility after that..if you want to go to a place where they give you a tag or whatever they will not tint it more than 35%, and if you want it lower than that they just tell you" go somewhere else"

Rep Power: 0 cambo no need to be a @ss. I had that tint job on two cars for a total of three years. Been stopped for speeding and not once have they mentioned anything about the tint. They just got a hair up their @ss because a budget increase got shot down. Now they are hitting people for every thing. Just wanted to let people know in my area. Ya I should have put it in regional but was pissed after getting the ticket.
