I can see the swells getting bigger. I can see sparks flicking, smoke starting...
Its a matter of time before all the gremlins shout repost! search! ...not to mention masses of people clicking emoticons like

I was hopin they'd get a more realisitic concept out for the detroit auto show, but guess not.

Looks Nice. I wonder how it performs. It says it comes with a V8, isn't that kind of heavy???? I would go with the V6 turbo.
I still think that the current skyline is king.

And uh, hate to pop that little bubble your living in, but the "current" skyline is just a Japanese G35 Sedan, same specs as the US one, nothing special about it. (check my avatar) Currently the new Z is the most powerful vehicle Nissan produces until they release the new GT-R in 2005.
EDIT: ok, rephrase so i dont have to argue what i said,
Current lineup of vehicles availabe from the dealer, the Z is the most powerful.

I still like the R34, it looks much cleaner. But still doesn't make any difference, they don't make them here. I know you can still get them here but that's too much trouble in my opinion. Long live the R34.

Looks a little bit too much like the current Z-Car. I cant say i like the design but i dont hate it. It just doesnt have that awesome look that the current skyline has. The current Skyline in my opinion is one of the most beautiful cars in the world. This concept seems to have lost some of that unexplainable dominant yet silent look of the current skyline. I'm not so sure about this concept...

the front looks like some sort of wild euro concept while the back looks like an old vette. i'd sport it ![Thumb Up](https://www.civicforums.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbs_up.gif)
my favorite skyline of all time is still the R33, though.

I think most people who say they like the R34 won't like it if they see it in person. Its big, bulky, and not very modern looking IMO. Hence its sales were a bit disappointing in Japan, despite it being a technically much better car than the R32 or R33.
Most people in Japan like the R32 most, as I do. It is by far the best looking. It had a lightness about it that the R34, and especially the R33 lacked. Plus the R32 started this GTR prestige to begin with.
