what mods void warranty

i just bought my civic in january and i'm wondering what i can do to it without voiding my warranty. i have a tight budget and won't be able to do much to it at first but want to drop it with coilovers and drop in a header, intake and exhaust eventually but don't want to dealer giving me a hard time. thanks

what mods?.just about all of them sometimes u will find a dealer thats coller than the next but they will prolly all void the warrenty

i know that my dealer told me that if i lower the car my warrenty would be as good as deadbut every thing else is fine as long as it does not cause it to break down

well dang...either way....not a problem for the dealer. if your car doesnt break..u dont bring it in to have it fixed. if it does....void ur warrenty bcuz of your mods!

okay say your transmission broke and you have mods. If you take out the aftermarket parts and take it in to the dealer will they still accept it with full warrenty. will they know???

My friends own a forign car repair shop down the street and I asked that question. So they called up my dealer for me. He said they told him I could do anything as long as it doesn't mess up the emitions systum. He said I could even put a turbo on without voiding anything. Sounds all good but I don't know if I would go that far. Maybe intake and exhaust.
