I think that it is complete bulls**t. The ad states that it goes 0 - 60 in 5.1 secs and tops off at 307 mph..... well the new Z06, which has 405 hp, goes 0 - 60 in under 4 seconds and tops off at a little over 170 mph on the test track.

The fastest Vette I have ever seen belonged to a guy who races them (it was also his weekly driver) He had a 7.0 liter (typical Vette has 5.0) 200 shot NOS, everything in the world on it and I don't think it goes 300+ MPH. I know he does 1/4 mile in 9 seconds if not less than that. A stock Vette tops out at 167, so I don't know with all the mods...

There's one large fact that makes him full of sh*t.
0-60 5.1seconds
0-100 9.9seconds
1/4 mile time 13.4 seconds
so unless the car hits 100mph and then somehow slows back down so it can run it's "13.4" in the 1/4 mile, then he's way way way way way way full of bull crap

actually a stock vette (z06) tops out at 175 mph at 3750 rpms on the 6th gear. i video taped it (the speedometer) and it was also GPSed
(global positioning systems). look for the vid out in kazaa or winmx or whatever.

actually that happened as soon as my friend shifted to 6th, it slowed down to like 145 since 3750 rpms is BELOW the powerband of a z06

Rep Power: 0 Yeah thats complete bs, unless he means KPH. The fastest corvette was the Sledgehammer, it was a 1988 vette, that went 254.6 mph. You can find this info on supercars.net and they dont lie. I would rather have the Lingenfelter TT Z06. Man its a sweet all around car.
