Rep Power: 0 Well, first off, I believe the vette isn't scheduled to change body styles until at least 2005. Those pictures are probably just concepts as of right now. I'm sure the final product will easily live up to the sporty styling of the corvette.

Rep Power: 0 The new body style has "only" been out for 7 years. The C4's lasted 12 years (1984-1996) with no significant body change. The C3's lasted about that long too. I think they need to change it. I live in Atlanta, C5 is probably the Honda of the sports car world, cause they are everywhere. As for that picture, I think it kicks @ss except for the headlights. The pop-up headlights is one of the two things it's known for...

Rep Power: 583 i kinda like the rear...really remeniscent of the 60's vette. but the front looks like a bad cross of a vette, Z, and NSX....not so good.
i think it would look better with a more angled front grille, different headlight shape, and they should DEFINATELY not do the side air vent like that....the scoop towards the rear wheel is much better looking.

I know they're great cars but looking at the older year corvettes just makes me wanna [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG]. Sorry, but that's just how it makes me feel.

Rep Power: 0 Not really diggin the new pics, and that is definitely NOT what the C6 will look like. Mid America hosts a Corvette funfest every summer and my dad takes his C5 down for the day with my mom. They have pics of the preproduction C6. Its a lot closer to the look of the Stingray3 if anyone remembers that concept vehicle from about 6 years ago. Also, the new trademark color when it is released will be some sort of reflective purple. If i can find the pics he took ill post one. But all i can think when i see that vette is [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG]

Rep Power: 332 OmegaBlue2k1 I agree, I don't see 350Z anywhere in the vette. I see a little viper in there here and there, and a little old stingray making it's way through, but not 350Z. I see several of them every day and definetly don't see anything Japaneese in the vette.

If you read Motor Trend, that's Motor Trend's rendition of what Motor Trend thinks the car will look like, based on what the Corvette designers told them. That is not the actual Corvette concept drawing at all. So its not going to look like that at all.

Rep Power: 0 I've been a die hard Corvette fan since I was a little kid. Anything they put out would be cool with me. Theres been many different concept cars corvettes that have never seen the light of day, most recently the CERV III which I think would be awesome. I think it's just there to keep the public and its competitors off their tail.
