Hx and Ex???
i havent read much about the HX but i dont understand y honda made this model. ok so it goes DX HX LX and EX dx no vtec hx vtec alloy rims and CVT lx no vtec ex vtec and fully loaded.. y did they stick the hx between the lx and dx when it schould be before the ex? plus whats the advantage of the HX's CVT?? is it a new name for AUTOMATIC?? i dont get it[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-nono.gif[/IMG]

Rep Power: 364 The differences have been explained many times. The HX is the really extra super fuel efficient as opposed just the extra super fuel efficient ones. Also, a CVT has no gears, thats the difference. Its a special type of auto.

Rep Power: 0 From what I hear the whole market is going to go towards the CVT in years to come. The mini cooper has a CVT model and other European car companies like VW and Porsche have been working on them. I don't know a lot about them, but they say that the CVT gets better gas economy than the manuel transmission, and is smoother than automatic due to the fact that it doesn't have traditional gears. I wanted to get one of these cars, but the technology is too new and I figured there would be a lot of problems with it. That is also the reason I didn't go with the Hybrid civic.
