Requirements for Warranty?

What service is required to keep my 02 lx under warranty? I bought an extended warranty for it also. I do my own oil changes and never take it in for anything, is my car still covered?

you have to take your car in cuz they write that stuff down, also maintenece is a requirement and a must, if your going to install aftermarket parts for you car you must first make sure they are the correct trim and all make sure you keep your records cuz you bought extended warrentee (don't know how to spell ) cuz when they bring it up most dealerships say that other stuff messed up your engine say for instance my dealership said my warantee was void of the intake that I installed and my brakes broke all of the sudden they tried to blame my intake blah blah blah get it, I hate dealerships like that.

anything that is there from the factory is covered. If you change the intake, it voids the warranty on anything associated with the intake. But you keep the rest of the warranty intact. You don't have to take the car to Honda for service... just warranty repairs. You want to change your own oil... go ahead. Just make sure you keep records of when you did it. Search the forums... this has been beaten to death.

i guess that the civic's brakes couldn't take the extra hp from the intake
