psi = pounds per square inch (to measure pressure)

whp = wheel horse power (the horse power that is actually getting to the ground)

ps= I don't know....play station?

Guess he wasn't smart in the first place, trying to run from the cops(?) or being somewhere he shouldn't have been (trespassing; hopping fence; then screwing up his head)

There are generally 3 units used to measure power in cars.
We use SAE Horsepower which is based on pounds.
PS (Pferdestärke), also known as DIN Horsepower, is European, and based on kilograms.
Asians use kW, I think that is kilowatts.
1 SAE HP = 1.0142 PS or DIN HP
1 SAE HP = 0.7456 kW

Same goes for torque, we use foot-pounts, Euros/Asians use units based on the metric system.
BHP stands for brake horsepower, which is meausred at the crank - thats the number you usually see people using.
WHP is wheel horsepower is the amount of power that actually makes it to the drive wheels - like measured on a dyno.
