That car wasn't designed as a luxury automobile...it's purely for performance and beauty (on the outside). When you're driving that thing, you'll forget what's inside.

I thought the Königsegg claimed to be the fastest production vehicle.

But upon looking at the Koenigsegg website, it says it goes from 0-100km/h in 3.5 seconds, while the McLaren can do 0-60mph in 3.2.

Wait, do you think the minute difference between 0-60mph and 0-100km/h acconts for the .3 seconds difference in time?

Probably not.

Or did Koenigsegg say their car was the fastest car currently in production. Are they still making McLaren F1's? Someone clarify this for me.

The difference between 100kph and 60mph is 100kph = 62mph. so no. that's not worth .3 seconds difference, unless you need to shift between 60 and 62mph. lol.

but the time of 3.2 for a McLaren i've never seen before, i always read times like 3.6. But maybe, the people that own the cars, can do better than magazines. I wouldn't want to be a mag racer would I? and no, they dont' make them anymore. as far as i know they only made some tiny number of them, like 30.

The site also said he put like 250,000 dollars into the car after he bought, such as custom piping. So thats probably where some of the difference in 3.6 and 3.2 comes from

I believe its fastest top speed in a production car!...

If you want to get technical I could say the Thrust SSC holds the
record for the fastest top speed @ 763mph
