as for me, i gotta keep my civic until i finish college. by the time a graduate from college, i think i will keep it as my weekend ride. civic is the only car i have now. i would like to keep it forever, dont ask why though. i know shes one slow piece of garbage, but i have been keeping the car show room clean for the past 6 months and i plan on keeping in that way for the entire time i own it.

i'd like to keep it as long as i like, but who knows what will happen in the future.

I've had it for about 1 1/2 years now. I'll probably keep it for 3 - 4 years, unless my situation changes and I have to do a lot of highway driving. Then I will probably get a larger car sooner. Right now I use it for mostly short distances. If my financial situation gets worse though, laid off, pay cuts, etc. I will probably just hold on to it forever.

I'm halfway through my junior year in HS, and I'll probably say good-bye to my Civic after college. But when I graduate from hs/ enter college my Civic will stay my daily driver, but I'm probably getting my dad's '03 Jetta GLI for my weekend toy. After college... Hello Audi.

well i agree with the most of you. this is my first brand new car, and i had my eyes set on the civic for a while. i mean, i;ve owned other cars but they were all used. in a way i wish i was with my old car, my 96 protege, but i mean this is a change for the good. i got into a accident in 2001 with my protege, this guy in medicar van ran a red light and hit me which totaled my car. me and my girl were injured, i broke my hand and had to got through 2 surgeries and months of phys therapy. sucks. i wish i could just have my old mazda back, it only had like 37k on it and my mom bought and handed it down to me when she stopped driving.
