God damn highbeams

Is there any way to do something about these mf's with highbeams on? It's getting rediculous around here. It's like one of of five cars have them on or something. It is especially annoying when they start tailgating me.

Slam on your brakes causing them to hit you. You get insurance money from them and you put out their bright lights.

Well, I would get behind them and flash my high beam several times.

Fog lights I always thought that this would be a cool idea.........get fog lights and have them facing backwards off your bumper. So when someone tries to screw with you flash those babies in their eyes.

hey this is what i do. I suppose hypothetically that they think that it is dark and they cant see so that is why they have their high beams on correct. Well since they do and they are behind me i'd like to simulate rain to put those high beams to use. And by doing so i have to be going about 40+mph so what i do is i hold down my windshield washing button and turn them on high so all the driver sees behind me is a cloud of washer fluid. And when i look back i see them swerve and reach for their wiper button also. So if you are ever in that situation that is what you should do, because our sprayers work just sooo well they would think that it is raining plus it gets their car dirty also. heh, I used to have a jeep, and I got really sick of people behind me with their high beams on, so I took my lightbar one night, and turned two of the four Hella 120 watt spotlights around to face backwards.....needless to say, it was pretty easy to get people to turn their highbeams off

it was kinda funny looking in my rear view mirrior and watching them swerve off the road when I turned my lights on

Ohh thanks for the suggestions.

Any rear foglight installation DIYs?
Gonna try that rain simulator too.
I'm not very big, so they might throw me down if I get out and break their lights. I might do that if it's a woman ... but then, I won't be able to see the person's face if they have their highbeam on
I did put on my polarized sunglasses, but it turned out to be too dark to use at night. I wonder if they have clear polarized glasses...

Take your rearview mirror and mess with the angle until it reflects the light right back through their windsheild. I did this on the interstate and the guy literally swerved and almost lost control. LOL I felt pretty bad though because he could have gotten into a serious accident. However, he had been riding with me and shining his f-in lights all over me till I couldn't take it..the idiot.

That takes a little practice and patience to work the mirror so here is another solution. Goto radio shack and get ya a nice spotlight that plugs into the car's power outlet. They are pretty cheap and bright as hay. I have one and love it.

What if you use that tint which reflects the light back into their eyes. I dont know the specific name for it, but it works great with the sun, maybe it will work with the HB's

Same thing happens to me all the time. I love these TYC projectors. They are so bright. Everyone thinks I have my brights on and flashes me until I flash my brights and they then know what the deal is.

Here's a better solution. Have a little box of nails and such and if some asswipe is tailgating you their
high beams or honking , just hit a little switch and all these nails drop from underneath your trunk near the
tow ring, more than likely they won't see it, but will either have a flat the next morning or blow a tire on the street.

James Bond style huh? I can see it now James Bond is "Tailgate me another day" and the car is his riced out 7thgen Honda Civic with LED window washers.

Sounds good in theory, but won't work too well in reality. Chances are other cars will run over the remaining nails.

I just wonder why the hell cops aren't doing anything about those highbeam happy people. Those people can be more dangerous than someone with a slightly loud muffler.

man, this post just reminded me something...
last week driving at night, suddenly u just see this bright light reflecting off my rearview mirror. First i thought it was just a truck or something, but then i realized that trucks doesn't have lights that bright and guess what it was? a HUMMER H2!! TAILGATING me!
Now, that's scary...if he hits me(going at about 80 km/h in a 60 km/h zone, freaking scared of him)...i think i'll say goodbye to myself and my car..., but that thing is so high and the lights just shoot directly at ur windshield...not ur bumper! Even when i turned the switch on the mirror for night time driving, the side mirrors were still reflecting lights...

No, you wouldn't have to worry about that. The new Hummer H2 is now made by GM, which means that it is a piece of crap and would fall apart like an Indy Car on contact. You civic would hold up better.
