Civic Si - You were born to own it
Did anyone else get this in the mail??? It's from Honda and wrapped in shiny red paper, a special offer for the Si - now they're giving
out a free cd changer if you buy an Si. And the thing I thought was funny, it actually says "Get a new Si. And make it fast"
Um, how about Honda designs an Si Coupe and makes it fast themselves? Then I could make it faster. Anyone want me to post some pics of this offer?

Rep Power: 0 I went to the dealer the other day and they tried to sell one to me. I told them "I'm not buying this thing, it looks like a minivan. Hasn't the sells on them been not horrible?" "Yeah they've been dispointing for us". and this is just my opinion(and everyone I know) THEY ARE UGLY

Rep: Have you been in here before?
Me: Yeah, I bought a Civic HX a few months ago.
Rep: Oh, are you intersted in the Si?
Me: Well, I am in the market for a minivan, but this one seems a little bit too small?
We then both started laughing. Put a grin on my face for the rest of the interview.

Rep Power: 339 yeah at my dealer, they didnt even have one on the sales floor. i went ther for a oil change and i didnt see the si plus i didnt see the s2k, but they usually keep it outside in the front.

Rep Power: 317 LOL I pulled up to a light yesterday in the burbs and looked over to my right and saw an SI...........i revved and the guy was older so he didn't really pay attention..........so i flew off the line and he didn't but he ended up passing me b/c i got stuck behind mall traffic............IT WAS AN ODYSSEY!!!!! LMAO I didn't know how small those things were, I truly thought it was the SI!!!!!!!!!

I like how they put the dissapointing dyno chart in there. I couldn't beleive they did that. Like no one knows about the RSX-s ??? duh. Now why didn't they just step up and put the RSX-s drive train in it. Then at least it would be a fast minivan.

Rep Power: 0 You know what is sad about this, is that the fact that honda is trying to sell a sports-oriented car and it failed so hard. You know what this is telling honda, that theres no market for it, which is half true and half false. Oh well, hopefully honda learned their lesson.

Rep Power: 0 The problem is that they might be so blind (Honda) they would probably just stop importing the Si into the US thinking the sports compact market is not good, instead of understanding all people want is that 2.0 liter engine (preferably the 200hp of course) under the coupe hood.
How hard can it be to just import the engines, send them to the Ohio Plant and put them inside the coupe? It´s already inside the RSX which is basically just a 7th gen civic, right?
I they don´t build it because they don´t think it would sell, they can try selling it in the NAFTA market and I bet it would sell very well.

Exactly what I thought!! I got all hyped up, thinking the coupe was gonna be back. Freakin let down.

Rep Power: 0 If I get one of those Si letters in the mail I'll take it to the dealer and use it as an excuse to drive one - then after I'm done I'll tell them if I wanted a truly fast compact I'd buy one of the new Neon turbos. The New Si was joke from the word GO! Embarrassing comes to mind - Honda now knows what it is like to produce a loser - they now have their own Aztec! At least I see Aztecs on the road - have yet to see a new Si on the road.

No love for the si....man i was one of the first few here when i had my LX, and now i dont even feel welcome. I come back after a few months and 6000 trolls had registered. Guess its time to find another insult for the si other than the worn and beaten.....odyssey look alike. Now its aztek? well....here's lookin at u

Rep Power: 0 I am not tryin to hate on the Si - I just prefer a civic coupe to a civic hatch. I guess coupes are more my style. This thread wasn't at all meant to turn into a 'hate on the si' magnet. My bad tho, should have known.
