this morning on the way to school, i hit 21,000m 
. . . my car is about 1 year and 5 months old. (july2001) what do you guys think??? too much miles, average, little or what??? what's your milage??

wow thats alot for jsut owning your car for lil over a year. i have had my vic for 4 months and 4 days and i have 4,600 miles on my 02 civic coupe. about 90% hwy miles going from and to school and my gf's house. 
the average is 12,000-15,000 miles a year.

I have 10,800 miles....
considering I have to drive to work everyday, that's 30 miles a day on my car
I'm estimating to be at 16,000 by this coming april....

I have had my car 1 yr. and 4 months and have almost 31,000 miles I drive it way to much, but no worry when I get my accord I am gonna be driving that very much.

yeah but thats is alot to hit 21000 and youve only had it year and half.
i heard the average milage a year is like 10 to 12 thousand.
my moms 96 protege only had 30000 miles on when she gave it to me a year ago.
on the other hand, my dad put 47000 miles on his galant in just less than year!

Rep Power: 289 whoa, i didn't expect to get so many responses in a matter or so hours . . . very nice!!! well, i guess my milage isn't that bad then huh??? i just do a lot of driving. go to school every day (deVry) which is about 5 miles aways, not bad . . . but weekends, i go to queens,NY to see my girl. from where i live to her place, its about 55 miles. round trip of 110 miles . . . dunno if you care, just a sharing!!!

Cost me as much as a 2001 EX is being sold for now though.
