Hold on, VTEC-E? I thought there were only three types; regular VTEC (EX), lean burn VTEC (HX), and i-VTEC (RSX-S.) Could someone clarify?[hr]
Yeah, there's a VTEC-E

edit: for the Honda Insight

So what is the difference between VTEC-E and VTEC? I am confused the civic manual and specifications sheet says nothing about a VTEC-E engine?

Well, you have to remember that in some countries (at least in Canada) the trim level "si" is about the same as the American "ex"... So really, the SiR, is the same as America's Si (the same goes for all previous gen civics)...

Having said that, I'm not positive what it means, but I think they just added the R (racing) to differentiate from the regular Si.

Someone correct me if I am wrong
