I'd say civic, it's lighter and has more power than the cavalier. However, whats the point of racing automatics? Especially, 4dr automatic cavaliers?

Hahaha, since they're both Auto's, all the driver has to do is basically smash down the gas pedal and hang on.

I had a '87 Cavalier and now I have a '01 Civic. I know that my Civic would have beat my old Cavalier any day.

Actually...I raced my friend's '97 Cavalier Coupe with my 01 EX Sedan...both Auto.

His first and second gears were stronger and he got a bit ahead of me, but once I got moving, it was all over. I caught up and beat him. We both had 2 passengers....us and our girls.

And no I'm not one of those crazy street racers...
