LX? EX?
Hey-
I was wondering if any of you could tell me exactly which model this civic would be classified under.
It has 00 below hubcaps, which obviously were put on after the vehicle was purchased. It has body colored mirrors suggesting it to be an EX model, however lacks the moonroof also affiliated with the EX suggesting it to be an LX. The car I believe only had a few thousand miles on it and was not a salvaged or wreck recovery. Puzzling...

Rep Power: 365 If it didn't have the 02 on the windshield, I would assume it was an 03 LX. The sunroof is the biggest part, the 02 hub caps don't look like that, Honda figured out the non-matching door handles are ugly. So my vote is an inocorrectly marked 03 LX. But thats just a guess.

Rep Power: 0 No... The 02 and 03 EX Sedans are still the only sedan's with Body-Colored mirrors. That is why I found this car to be so... out of the ordinary. Perhaps you guys were correct in saying the owner just decided to paint the mirrors white, but why? What a waste of money. Its like the person that sticks the EX hubcaps on the LX yet forgets to remove the LX emblem. Or the person that sticks the EX emblem on the LX yet forgets to purchase rims to replace the LX hubcaps. Pointless... Why not just buy an EX and save yourself the trouble? 
4doors dont come with sunroofs, its only the coupes that do, so it is the (better) model (i dont know what is what cause it diffrent here).
at least this applies to canada, i could be wrong, cause i have never ever seen a 4door with a unroof

Rep Power: 0 i have a 2k2 LX... only the door handles are painted... the mirrors still aren't... my guess is.. it's an LX and it had aftermarket wheels on it.. but pulled them and stuck someone elses civic wheels on it... as for the mirrors... i dunno... maybe it's one of those LX special editions or something.[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]
