Your insurance must be high. Your parents give you a new car every half birthday or something?
Sentra SE-R Spec-V out performs Civic no doubt, but we all have our reasons why we chose the car we have. Don't go around talking smack. I personally didn't are about speed and that's why I chose a Civic. "I" think (just an opinion like yours), the Civic beats the hell out of any Sentra looks wise.

A lot of Joe's posts are flaming posts. They are great examples of flaming and are very cruel and methodical without reason. The last thing he should be is a mod.
Mods aren't here for their knowledge. They are here to enforce the site's rules and to keep the site under control.

LMFAO this is comedy. No my parents have absolutly nothing to do with my cars. I have purchased all three all by myself. Paid cash for the last two, but that really is irrelevant. No help from anyone else. Thank you. Honestly my reason for purchasing the spec was more about what you get for the money. I'm sorry but the Civic Ex runs aproximatly $17,000 where as the Spec is pretty close to that price. So for the money the Sentra is a much better buy (in my eyes). More power, more reliable, no rattles, safer, more extras. I hated my Civic. Which has been explained a lot and I have no need to explain again. As far as looks the Sentra was not my first choice but it has definatly grown on me. Yeah I totaled a car. Accident happen to the best of us. Fortunatly I was in the Sentra. That F**ker held up better than any Honda could have. If I had been in my Civic when I got in that accident I would have not walked away.

This = I am a spoiled daddy’s girl who most likely has a "princess" , Roxy, and/or "Daddy's Girl" sticker/plate frame on her car.
It also sounds like a chick whom takes it in the *** in order to gain popularity with "the guys" since giving up the poonanny became an everyday occurrence.
Too cute for what? Apparently not cute enough to cut trough the self absorbed bitchie'ness[hr]

This is not a flame, I just honestly want to know why you still post here. If you want to keep in touch with some people, just e-mail them. I'm sure you have better things to do than keep checking here for things to argue about - at least I would hope so.
I don't know the entire story, so I'm not taking sides here.
Question though. I thought those cars sucked. (spec V) No offense, but I drove one and thought it was horrible. If you paid for that car w/ cash, it makes me think you have your own money as do alot of people. With that in mind, why did you buy it in the first place. Why wouldnt you buy something nicer like a Type-S or a GT-S?

first of all, who pays msrp for a car? no one with any common sense, right? the $17,000 pricetag for a civic ex usually turns into a 15 thousand price tag. And depending on the part of the country you are in, even lower. As for that Spec-V (which comparably equipped falls into the 18,500 range), sure its a nice quick car, but given that I have driven 5 of them so far and even more civics (both sedan and coupe), its just as reliable as a honda, rattles as much if not more than a civic and is actually not as safe as a civic. The civic has a 5 star front and side impact rating. The sentra? It has 4 stars on frontal impact, which is good, but not quite 5. The side impact is still under review. As for the insurance institute for highway safety tests, the civic performs better as well. It's a best pick.

As for the extras? Sure the spec-v comes with a badly designed six-speed tranny (the 5spd is better in the altima with the I4), which is at least smooth, standard 17 inch tires and an optional crappy rockford sound system but, oh wait, those are the extras that go over the civic. So once again, why is the spec-v better (aside from having a gas guzzling engine that produces more power)? Hell, at least anti-lock brakes are standard on the civic ex. Yet another good safety feature. SO before you make random comments about why one car is better than another, at least make sure they are valid. (ie: do your damn homework)
And all this info is coming from a major nissan fan and former nissan owner. Once they get thier crap together and put decent engines in the frontiers i'll probably become a nissan owner again. Better gas mileage on thier engines would be good too.

Sweet. I should get a job with the government.
BTW SPECV, I paid 16,500 for my Si, and I garnfukintee that with me driving, it would beat you like your dad should have when you were smaller, stock or not.
On top of that, I’ve put 60K miles on it without ONE thing breaking... and this is with over a year of nitrous use and 2 years of drag/auto-x abuse. Plus I don’t need to "know" you. I already know plenty of stuck up daddys girls to know one when I see (or read about, as the case may be) one. Don’t try to play it off, because it’s not going to happen. I also don’t need to know you to determine that it was your crappy attitude and driving skills that attributed to your wrecking the Sentra.
Thank you for playing.

Also learn to link god damn pictures. You signature is a waste of space, and reflects just how ignorant and annoying you truly are. I bet your 3rd husband finds that out rather quickly.
You know, my driving skills had nothing to do with the accident. It is called an accident for a reason. I'm sure you have been in at least one like the rest of the world. I am on my second spec and would not trade it for anything. Obviously I liked the first otherwise I wouldn't have gotten another. As far as the tranny in the 03 that was fixed. I was going to buy a GT-S but I wanted a new car and the only one worth buying was the 00 and the RSX-S and Si I drove both and hated them plus I wanted away from Honda. I looked at a lot of cars before I made my decision. Like I said for the money that car was the best buy for myself. As far as safety I have been in accidents in both Civics as well as my Nissan. The Sentra held up a hell of a lot better then any Honda I had been in had. I drove off the top of a 25 ft embankment into a tree and landed on a fence that 25 ft later. The engine and interior of the car were damn near perfect. The back end took most of the blow and did pretty damn well. Anyhow the point is that I have my opinion just like all of you do. I am not here to start sh*t. I am here cuz I still hang out with people from this board and I still do know quite a bit about the car. As for me being a "daddy's girl" I think not. I have not seen my father since I was 5 thank you.
