Yeah... my dad I guess was all excited 'cause the only thing he's ever "bid" on that much money for was our summer home (which was just over $100,000). I highly doubt he's serious... I mean there's DEFINITELY part of me that wishes he is, but they just made the decision to not get my mom a new car and keep her van 'cause (at least as I understood it) money's kinda tight and stuff. But who knows... maybe they're thinking of tradin' in my Camry I SOOOOOO WISH!!!!

But yeah... if you're gunna buy a used car my cousin (and maybe Greg (MugenRacerX)'s bro) is probably one of the best people to buy a car from. I guarentee that car doesn't have a speck of dust on it... and the auction fails to mention that the heated garage that the lift the car is on is in has an alarm system as well. He's so loaded it's enough to make you sick... it's incredible. They just built this summer home that's absolutely georgeous... it had to have cost at least a mil... lots of custom work. In addition to the SL he's got a Porsche and a Ferrari (actually last I heard that was going to be sold after summer... so he may not have that anymore), the BMW SUV... I can't even remember anymore what else... and his wife's got her own car as well. It's crazy, but he's lucky to have the money (and he worked VERY had to get where he is).

Me too... but my parents never cease to amaze me when it comes to contradicting themselves (especially my dad). Greg could give you a few good examples himself as well. Last year they did the same thing... Called me one night and lectured me about my credit card bills... and then they came to BU for parents' weekend and my mom goes "did dad tell you he got a new car?! It's so nice! A LEXUS!!" I was like... "WTF??!!" He bought it used and that's how we buy all our cars, but still.

My parents are retarted. I'll be pissed if my dad gets that car (especially 'cause I got lectured about $ over Thanksgiving break). But if it does become ours I'll be less pissed if they let me drive it [IMG]i/expressions/demon.gif[/IMG] ::sigh:: less than 5 minutes left and my dad's STILL the high bidder... but the reserve's not met, which kinda sucks. For some reson I have a feeling he was trying to help Avi out by raising the price. Not harmful 'cause the reserve hasn't been met... but I wish it had so my dad could look like an a**... I'd get a kick outta that one.

Oh well...

The automatics on those benz are very good actually they wouldnt really be considered a slushbox.
