I used to have a Trans Am and one day I was driving around and got this HUGE craving for some rice. I just happened to be passing my local Honda dealership and the rest is history.

well i bought it cause i wanted to fix up the car and make it somewhat fast. but now that our cars suck and you cant really do anything unless you buy a supercharger/turbo its basically good for looks and gas mileage until i get the money for that of a k20a.

Well was coming out of tech school and I still didn't have a car of my own and I wanted a new one with A/C so my parents helped me out and gave me one for a early graduation present. But I still make all the payments they just helped with signing and a downpayment.

Why I chose a 7th Gen Civic:
1. Reliability - my old Chevy Cavalier was a P.O.S. It had tons of problems. I always heard that Honda had good reliability
2. Low depreciation - as long as I keep my Civic in great shape it will have a good resale value
3. Price - quite frankly I didn't have much $$, and the value is really good (unless you're looking for power maybe)
4. Looks - I've gotten lots of compliments on my car and I haven't done a thing to it (other than keeping it clean and waxed). What other $15,000-16,000 car looks as good as the Civic coupe?
5. Great gas mileage - It saves me money on fuel and it cuts down on fossil fuel consumption.
Why I chose an HX:
1. Alloy wheel are standard on the HX (I hear that they are now standard on the 2002 EX... or is it 2003 EX?)
2. Continously variable transmission (CVT) makes my car different from all the others.
Extra benefits:
* Safety - the 5 star safety rating doesn't hurt
* Emissions - yes, I'm environmentally aware. I like that my car is an ULEV.

I had a s10 xtreme and wanted to get more of a tuner car so i went looking, first choice 1999 Mitsu eclipse Gsx (couldn't get a five year loan cause it was a 99) 2nd choice a 3rd gen eclipse (then the 03 model came out and the price got jacked up) 3rd choice was a 2000 b16 coupe but the payments ended up being to high for my shitty job to pay for so i got this bad boy, i just hope i can make somethin' out of it

first off, I wanted to have a nice looking car. RSX was my first choice, then the Civic. so I was saving up. thenn...
i was heading out to work and noticed the front of my 91 ford escort was damaged, hit by an SUV backing into it or something. no note
i was taking a road trip to NJ in just a few days, and NEEDED to have a decent looking car. so I knew this was the time to get my new car. unfortuantely, I couldn't afford the payments and insurance on an RSX, so I got the civic. and I'm glad I did, very nice car that's given me no problems whatsoever and the gas mileage rocks for the 40 mile commute each day.

cause i wrecked my prelude and my parents were "scared" so they made me get something slower. it was the only one on the market that i liked and my parents agreed too. oh well.
Previously I drove a '95 Mazda 626...Too many problems
So I decided to give myself a present for being such a good girl and I'ce always wanted a civic to mod, the rest is history...

all of this and my 99 mustang was about to turn 100000 miles. I also needed a new project car and was 4000 upside down in the stang so needed something cheap that held its value so here i am.
I really wanted to get a GSR, but my parents wouldn't let me get a used car. And since they were buying it for me as my graduation present I couldn't really put up a fight. I'm happy with my civic. It gets great gas milage, looks good and is reliable.
