"Just got the new Autozeitung in the mail and they had small test with a Weineck Cobra. Now those Snakes are evil:
Weineck is a small German firm, which makes one of the most evil Cobras (and for sure the most evil here in Germany):
All street legal of course:
Weineck V8 with 10.198l /550 CID
the car they tested had NOS and putting out 900hp at 7800rpm, 1070lb-ft @ 5400rpm. 0-62 in 3secs flat, 0-124mph in 6.5 secs, top speed: as fast as the driver is capabable, but way beyond 300kph. Weight (empty): 2600lb
the other stuff is pretty high tech so that it should even handle "the twisties" (hope I get the translations right):
- extra stiff ladder frame
- height adjustible suspension
- Four speed G-Force gearbox with specially hardened spur toothed gears
- Carbon pushrods and drive-shaft
- aluminium running gear with titan springs and triple wishbone suspension
- Brembo brakes"

Anyone read the article on the Brand New Cobra.......Looks SICK.......
But the new one they built still can't keep up with the older ones..........
