Got hit by one of those orange hiway buckets!!

Just driving along at 75 or 80 mph, and I see one of those orange constructions barrels flying across the interstate, right at my car. I can't go left because of the WALL and can't go right, otherwise straight into it. It pounds into the side of my car, and i'm like CRAP!!!

I pull off the interstate immediately, NO DAMAGE!! WHEW!!!

fortunately i haven't had to dodge anything on the highway yet, but I do remember driving behind a semi with one of it's rear tires blown.. flapping all over the place. with no traffic at all i sped away in the far left lane before it ruptured the fuel tank and created a fire that shut down the interstate for 8 hours and destryoed 4 acres of forest..

then i woke up.

Dude, the same thing happened to me. I was driving down the freeway a couple of weeks ago, goin about 75, and all of a sudden all the cars in front of me are swerving out of the way. Suddenly I see one of those big *** orange things rolling right down the middle of my lane. Luckily since there was a shoulder next to me, i barely missed that bitch. I dont know what happened behind me cuz everything was goin so fast, but if someone hit that during rushhour, i would imagine that all hell would break loose.

I just about missed a bed in the middle of the freeway last night... someone somewhere ahead of me must have hit it since it was only half of it... Luckily I swerved around it... It was definitely weird. Glad to hear there was no damage to your car

oh man. u got lucky. heh.

I hit a "SAFETY" cone on the freeway.. a big one at that... I duno why I didn't completely swerve outta the way.. I had my left clear.... well, I didn't really know that, I was worried I'm going to smash into something in my blind spot...

but yeah, front lower grill is broken... and I got myself a bent radiator... grr... oh well, the lower grill is still there, just loose... and the radiator still works.

argh. road debris. arrrgghh.

dangerous stuff man. I've seen bucket flying... rolls of carpets and matress... flying clothes... plastic bags... wheels... tires.... etc. etc.

When I was moving back here to Ia, it was around 11:00PM and I was driving this monster U-Haul truck. I heard a clicking sound every 2 seconds or so for around a minute, then looked out the window and noticed I was knocking over every single construction barrell for a mile or so. Lets just say, I felt really stupid.
