For the people with custom paint jobs on their civic, how much money did you pay for it? Of course only if you are comfortable stating the price...I know it varies depending on what color, if they get the engine bay, etc., but I just need general figures. Thanks!

Ya it depends on what colour, My friends shop charges around 2gs-3g's canadian for most of the paint jobs he does.

well my shop charges 2600+850 for engine bay...but they have lifetime warantee,even against rock chip up to a certain size, which i still havent gotten!

well here in Monterrey they charge 15000 pesos (about $1500 USD) if you paint tit the same color and there is no damage like dents o stuff like that, and i think they charge 30000 pesos for other color and engine bay ($3000 USD)

if you put out that kinda cash, please get the engine bay painted! its just weird to see beautiful exterior paint and then theres a bland engine bay.

What about cost to get the Chameleon color changing paint job..........just out of curiosity

try earlsheib(spelling) its a shop with a lot of locations in the bay area, they'll charge like 350 for your paint job and 80 dollars for each door jam, they do a clean *** job too!

Chameleon paint jobs arent good for everyday drivers. If you need to repaint any part you have to spray the whole car again because it wont match. My friend has a mystic Cobra (purplish chameleon paint) and if he gets into an accident even if its just the bumper he said hed have to repaint the whole car so it would match.

my buddy had his 97 cadillac deville painted with a custom blue it costed him 11k and he even got a deal ( he had murals on it to)
