Does anyone know if Honda can check the computer to see if an aftermarket chip has been installed, even if its been removed? I'm talking about the v-force and not getting the stock chip reprogrammed. The reason I ask is a buddy I have at a ford garage said that they can check to see if a piggyback chip has been installed previously on the car. Focus specificly. I may get a v-force, but not until after warranty if it voids it.

I'd hold off on that, unless you want your car to crash every 20mins.[hr]

Rep Power: 291 Yes they can, but I wouldn't worry about it. Unless you tell them that you have a chip, they are not going to look for one.
I have never had a problem and I have a JET CHIP.

Rep Power: 0 Ya, I was thinking they could, but maybe the ECU reset would work to clear it. I'm probably not going to worry about it though. Thanks.
