yeha but i mean it feels like our cars were the red headed step children. I mean hodna really screwed us when it came to our cars. no one wants to make stuff for it. I think I might buy a jackson supercharger and have my buddy that owns his own speed shop custom fab it so it will fit.

That's a pretty stupid statement calling others idiots, when your reason is absolutely wrong. The reason they don't make the supercharger for the vic is because the engines in the si and rsk, are designed for sports applications, and can be better tuned. Our vics are ulev, designed for everyday drivers... not for racing. Check out some of the other threads on this site that state the specifics...

JSRS only put out like 30-40hp on the previous D series, why would you play 4k for that???
110 (ex) + 30-40 = 140-150hp =
i don't see why you would pay 4k for that kinda power unless it for show? and yes
4k just to have JSRS under the hood(to show off) is worth it

I wonder if they didnt get enough sales of the JRSC for the D16 to warrant designing another system for the D17. I have seen a bunch of cars with the JRSC for the D16 though. I wrote to them a few times asking them to make one for our cars, but they said they will never be coming out with one. Unless they're trying to keep it secret. I think a JRSC would be worth it especially if you get a larger pulley and bump up the boost to maybe 9 psi. Rice Burner EX got 197 hp to the wheels with his setup on 9 psi. That also cost him around 7000. It is a turbo and probably more efficient.

Maybe if more people asked for it they would think about it? How about a sticky on this forum to have people vote to have JR make a supercharger system? Like the thread about bringing the type-R to the states. It couldn't hurt! Lets do it!!!!

To bash on JR for NOT offering a SC for the 7th gen is rediculous...

There is PROBOBLY a legitimate reason as to why they would NOT offer one. Besides, a 6th gen coupe with a JRSC was still a low 15 second car...who would pay 4 grand for that?!

Nobody should be bashing JR for not making a SC for our car's. I mean if your in the business of making fast cars faster, why would you put a lot of R&D into making a supercharger for a Honda that is mainly bought by people who want economy and not speed.......?????

Come on think about it, do you see more people putting around in the civic, or do you see more people drag racing a civic??

JR is right in not even taking the time to produce a D17 SC. PERIOD.

The RSX and the Si have more of a performance oriented motor to them as compared to the Civic. Quit

I agree with JR also, it'd be stupid to spend time and money designing something for our cars when our cars are notoriously not known for performance. Take a look around the real world and maybe you will understand how a business works and how they have to make money to survive and keep their reputation in order....

i have to agree w/ Jackson Racing also...they realize, just as i have, that the 7th gen is a POS!

why waste money on R&D for a supercharger for the 7th gen? 5 people will buy one, and the car will still be slow as a$$

the term "sporty" referes to a car that is actually fast. low 14 sec in the least stock id say. ive seen an rsx type s with all the boltons and the best time he could get with it was 15.1. how sad it is that most of these japmobiles are marketed as sports cars when they are still damn slow. and jackson racing probably plays with this mindset to its advantage. marketing...

I still don't get why you guys are complaining...I mean, we're looking at a 2 year old car - R&D takes a while, that's for sure...especially after a complete redesign of a specific model. be patient!!! Give it time, and eventually things will come around...

Jackson Racing Superchargers are a HUGE waste of money, my friend had one on his Teg Type-R, he had a whole new intake manifold, exhaust, headwork, etc, and only ran a 14.3
