Sweet vehicle sweet price
I can't believe that you could pick up an infiniti G35 coupe for 30,000.00(give or take depending on options)... 280HP
what does honda have to compete the CL type S for 33000 if you're lucky at 260 hp

well...why is the CL type s so bad at $30000?? i like the style of the g35 better, but the CL is a great car. and everyone knows nissan has always been the more sports oriented of the 3.

Translation of G35 Coupe= 4 seat Z! For 30 grand it's well worth it. It looks very sporty and very classy. The CL-S is a snazzed up Accord.
Hmmm... Fancy family car or fancy sports car... Let me see..
Yup, given those choices... put me down for a G35 (although I'd actually prefer a 2 seat version)

it's awesome! I bought a new car mag that had an article in it, cant' remember, think it is SCC...
Anyway, to be the odd one of the bunch, I'd rather have the new Z, which starts at 26k (and I would get the cheap one) and still has 285 hp... PLus I like the tails better... But either way, the nissan corp definitely did something good in designing these two cars!!!!!

My brother's 2001 CL-S was 29xxx before tax and all that. But the cars are (in my mind) projected at slightly different audiences. The CL-S is for the kid who had a Honda in high school and college and still wants a nicer version of the same car. The G35 is more towards people in their 30s who would like something to feel like they're in high school or college again.

Ok the CL is alright but if you think about Honda is so expensive for what you get... ehh I mean the RSX Type S with the FP package is 29... 29!!! for 200 horses... how can they get away with it...
i was offered 26.8k + TTL for a CL-S. was close to taking it, too. being a snazzed-up accord isn't a bad thing, IMO. the accords are excellent cars and well worth the money, as is the CL-S. (well, not so anymore because of the new accord coupes)

Reason #1: way too expensive...
Reason#2: no power (no more than type s anyway)...
Reason #3: Even the enthusiasts are strongly criticizing them, and it hasn't even come out yet... This will be the only year for that one I predict...
