Performance?
for those of you who have somewhat modded your cars, how much hp / torque did you guys gain?
i/h/e.. throttle body, cams, pulleys, wires, bassically anything you can do. ( N/a not nos or turbo)

do not belive what it is on the box, they lie, most of the time, im very very happy i evengot around 4-6whp gain, alot of time ppl feel no gain and even drop of torque with short ram and btw (10-15hps) gain for a cai is on a rsx typeS
This is a D17 motor your talking about here. The motor that hates to be modded.
Even if you put a CAI on a Ford 4.6, your still only going to get around 8-10hp gain. What you have there is a classic example of companies not knowing how to market their products or giving you false advertising. What most companies do is, test their CAI or SRI or pullies or whatever they have on a numerous amount of vehicles. And, whatever vehicle gave them the best gain in hp figures, thats what goes on the box. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]
